Meet Stuart Kasdorf
Stuart Edward Kasdorf MPA
Portratist/Commercial Photographer/Business Owner
20 years of photographing and owning a studio has been an amazing journey for Stuart. The decision to become a photographer was made at the age of 18 while attending the University of Saskatchewan. Classes in art and art history proved to be the catalyst in the decision.
Stuart's formal education in photography was started in Edmonton, at NAIT. He continues to acquire both photographic and business education. Stuart has been invited on several occasions to teach his unique approach to the business of photography to his peers.
In May of 1990 the studio was opened in a modest location on 22nd Street in Saskatoon. Guided by a vision to provide high quality photographic imaging that bridges the gap between art and commerce, the business continues to grow. Stuart maintains this unique vision today.
Since winning his 1st photographic award in 1990, Stuart has been the recipient of many prestigious honours awarded by the Saskatchewan Professional Photographers Association and the Professional Photographers of Canada. Stuart received his Masters of Photographic Arts in 2006. |
